I have a 69.9945% in Microbiology, a class I was not so good at while I was still in pharmacy school(hence why I am taking it twice). Do you think A) he will round that up to a 70% or B) claim it is not good enough and give me a D. . .

Does he seem like an accommodating person? Also, have you gone to his office hours and spoken to him about ways in which you could do better in his class at some point during this semester? If neither of these apply, it's a complete toss up.

At my uni any X9% gets rounded up, 9% to 10% etc.

Grades are considered to 0ne decimal place. So like a 60% is not the same as a 59.9%. . .

Lesson learned the hard way: Teachers are more lenient when you spend time in their office and they can attach a face to a name, otherwise you're just a number and they could give a damn about you. I read a few posts to see that you never went to his office hours, so try to make up for lost time by marching your ass over there right now and asking him in person. If he gives you some BS about (well you did not achieve a 70%, you're 0.xxxxxx% away, give him some reference from the class about statistical process or something to show him you understood the material and that he should, in fact, round up.

If you were an engineer, .0055% could be a significant difference. But my next observation is that only a friggin' science teacher would take grades out 4 decimal places.

Well he hasn't announced that these are final grades just yet. This is me speculating, if they are. I will definitely go over there right now, once he announces grades. I am not just 0.xxx% away, I am 0.0055% away. . .

You have two options here. The first is bribery, the second blackmail. Unless you want to go belt-and-braces and use both, or do the double-cross and bribe him, them blackmail him about it to get your money back once you have the grade.
